We can keep and deposit your order form and money and let you know the new date for January, or we can return your order form and money and you can refundraise when the time comes. Good afternoon,
This is a message from Duval PK through 8. Recently, we have had parents passing others in the pick up and drop off line. Administration has spoken to some of these parents directly, but wanted to put out a message to all parents to please avoid passing others in the pickup and drop off line, as it is a danger to student safety. Student safety is a top priority at Duval PK through 8, and we please ask that we follow the rules mentioned in this message. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the school and speak with an administrator.
Thank you and have a good evening.

Dear Duval Students and Families,
I hope you each had a restful and enjoyable summer! As we embark on the 2024-2025 school year, I’m excited to welcome you back to another year of learning, growth, and community here at Duval PK8.
This year is especially meaningful to me as it will be my first full year serving as your principal. Since joining Duval in January, I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand the dedication and pride that our students, families, teachers, and staff bring to our school. I’m grateful to be a part of this incredible community.
Our assistant principal, Mrs. Cassie Stone, and I are looking forward to building on the successes of last year. We are fortunate to have such a strong team of teachers and staff who are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and challenging learning environment for every student.
As we start this new school year, I want to emphasize the importance of working together—students, families, and staff alike. Your involvement and support play a crucial role in making Duval PK8 a great place for our children to learn and grow.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. Together, we’ll make this school year one filled with memorable experiences, academic achievement, and growth.
Let’s make it a great year!
Thank you,
Joshua Barnett
